Blogger goes down - lost blogs

The blogger community is a buzz and theory's and assumptions swarm the google help forums. Appearently the blogger team tried to implement and important maintenance update that they rolled out a couple of days ago. After the first blogger update they started receiving numerous complaints of blog errors and error codes. After first realizing there was a bigger problem with their original update they decided to attempt to fix the issues. This then turned into an all day marathon and still has yet to be resolved. Many reported lost blogs and the inability to log into their blogger account.

This is a repeating question that many in the google help forums are asking but since the blogger team is focusing on fixing the problems relating to the updates leaves very little time to explain what is really going on at blogger. For the just of it, if you cannot log into your blog do not worry at first. google is trying to fix the issues with the blogs. You may notice your blog appears to be gone or deleted without warning or has reverted to an earlier template or version when visiting your own blog. According to the google blogger team this is to be expected and not lasting.

The blogger status page suggest that recent articles or blogger post may be deleted or appear so and the same with the comments section. They have stated they are working on the problems and they are trying to restore all the removed content.

After things settle down and the server issues get inline and you still cannot enter the blogger dashboard or your blog then it is time to head to the blogger help forums and explain your problem there.
